This provides the student with an overwhelming feeling that he or she is actually a part of the experiment. Entertainment: Gaming companies have created groundbreaking applications of virtual reality. Games like Call of Duty and EVE Online are highly successful, with players taking on the persona of soldiers and explorers in the virtual world. In these games, players take on the role of a military unit fighting against an invading force. Players navigate through virtual terrain, completing missions and overcoming challenges. Although these games are set in the real world, they are essentially a miniature version of what military soldiers would face in combat.
